Rubrik, the zero trust data security company, has unveiled a new, enhanced partner program, Rubrik Transform.

The Rubrik Transform partner program allows partners to become trusted data security advisors. They’ll help improve customers’ cyber readiness, resilience and recovery.

“As part of our ongoing assessment of our partner program … we identified a few key areas where we could modernize the program,” she said. “Primarily, we wanted our partner program to account for partner activities beyond just bookings and also take into consideration additional value-add actions our partners are taking, including data security-specific assessments, certifications and more. Partners now have new opportunities to expand their earning potential and offerings through the Rubrik Transform partner program. As Rubrik continues its mission to secure the world’s data and focus on data security, this was the perfect time for Rubrik to revitalize our partner program and further equip partners with resources to win in the ongoing battle against cyber threats.”

New Rubrik Partner Program Leverages Points-Based System

This program has an increased focus on data security activities driven by partners and leverages a points-based system, Asif said. This enables Rubrik to better evaluate a partner’s performance and rewards partners for aligning to its mission.

“Rather than the authorized, select and elite tiers of Velocity (the former program name), the tiers of the Rubrik Transform partner program are outlined as authorized, elite, and elite+,” she said. “We removed the select tier of Velocity to more clearly differentiate the three unique tiers. Partners can accumulate points based on specific activities outlined in the program. Consistent with Rubrik’s commitment to cybersecurity offerings and securing the world’s data, partners can accelerate their score by completing qualifying value-add activities that highlight the value of Rubrik data security.”

This points-based system allows partners to unlock strategic financial benefits and investments from Rubrik. That’s regardless of their type, size or historical status.

Partners had a significant role in developing the Rubrik Transform program, Asif said. In particular, they provided critical input for the elite and elite+ tiers.

“Partners wanted a profitable and predictable rewards structure,” she said. “And for regional partners, they wanted the opportunity to be recognized for their value-add activities. This partner feedback was a core component of the program design.”

Clear Path for Rubrik Partners

Rubrik Transform provides a clear path for partners to elevate their status and access new earning opportunities, Asif said.

“This will be especially beneficial to partners’ activities that are focused components like achieving data security accreditations, completing ransomware remediation workshops, and more,” she said.
