Wabash National Simplifies Bloated ROBO Backup Architecture
Wabash National, headquartered in Lafayette, Indiana, is North America’s leading producer of semi-trailers and liquid transportation systems. Established in 1985, the company delivers best-in-class transportation equipment that enables the country’s largest trucking fleets to operate more efficiently.
As a result of multiple acquisitions, Wabash operated a hodgepodge of technologies that required hands-on management of day-to-day backup jobs and more dollar investment every year for additional disk space. It even had to devote a full-time backup administrator solely to manage its eight data centers.
