PALO ALTO, Calif., December 7, 2016 — Rubrik, the world’s first Cloud Data Management Company, today announced that Stephen Alfieris has joined the company as VP of Federal Sales. With over 25 years experience working with federal customers, Alfieris will be responsible for driving Rubrik’s overarching sales strategy in the Federal Sector, enabling more organizations to reap the benefits of Rubrik’s comprehensive Cloud Data Management platform.
Prior to Rubrik, Alfieris was the VP of Federal for ServiceNow, where he oversaw the company’s expansion into the market, adding 100 new customers to its portfolio and overseeing a 300 percent growth in total contract value. Prior to ServiceNow, Alfieris was the CEO of IntelliDyne, an IT consulting and engineering firm for the federal market. Before that, he spent over 20 years serving in roles of increasing responsibility at EMC, ultimately leading the company’s Federal Systems Division.
