What is DevOps resilience?
DevOps resilience is the ability to keep building, shipping and recovering software when code, pipelines, developer tools or AI agents are attacked, misused or make mistakes. It goes beyond DevSecOps scanning by adding immutable backup and recovery for DevOps platforms and collaboration tools, proactive testing of the code itself, and real-time governance of AI agents. Rubrik delivers all of these on one platform.
Which DevOps platforms and tools does Rubrik protect?
Rubrik DevOps Protection backs up GitHub and Azure DevOps, covering repositories, pipelines and infrastructure as code, as well as work items, issues, pull requests and wikis. Rubrik also protects Jira Cloud, including issues, projects and configurations. Confluence Cloud protection is GA as well. All backups are air-gapped and immutable, and managed from the same console as your cloud, SaaS and on-prem data.
How is this different from version control or native backups?
Version history and native recycle bins live inside the same platform as your data, so a compromised account can delete both, and they only keep deleted data for a limited window. Rubrik stores immutable copies in a separate, Rubrik-managed environment outside your identity domain, keeps them as long as your policy requires, and restores them at the level you need.
Do I need DevOps Protection to use Rubrik Code Guardian?
Yes. Code Guardian analyzes the air-gapped snapshot of your GitHub or Azure DevOps repositories that DevOps Protection already holds, so no new connector or extra data egress is needed, and your live repositories are never touched. Code Guardian is currently in private preview for a limited group of design partners.
Is my source code shared with Anthropic?
No. Code Guardian runs inside Rubrik's infrastructure. Your source code, prompts and the model's intermediate reasoning are never sent to Anthropic or any other third party. You see confirmed findings, CVSS scores and file-level remediation plans in Rubrik Security Cloud.
How does Rubrik govern AI coding agents like Claude Code?
Rubrik Agent Cloud monitors every Claude Code and Cowork agent, showing what it can access and flagging risky behavior. Its Semantic AI Governance Engine (SAGE) enforces intent-based policies in real time, so an agent can't complete a task by taking an unsafe path. Agent Rewind reverses unintended actions, and Rubrik backs up and restores the configuration that controls agent behavior, such as system prompts, skills and permissions.
