Jannik began his journey in the professional IT world in 2022 as a Trainee System Engineer at Bechtle in Kiel. Early in his career, he was responsible for operating and maintaining the technical backbone of a Backup-as-a-Service platform based on Rubrik. Over time, he evolved from an operations-focused role into a Consultant and System Engineer, supporting customer projects across datacenter, cloud, and SaaS environments. Throughout his journey, he has continuously strengthened his expertise in Backup & Recovery and solution design for modern data protection.

Since 2023, Bechtle Hamburg has been offering enterprise-grade Backup-as-a-Service for SMB and large customers, with Rubrik as the underlying solution. Jannik joined as a System Engineer, focusing on customer onboarding and platform operations. In 2024, he led his first standalone project, enabling a customer to establish a standardized backup solution across headquarters and affiliates throughout the EMEA region. Since then, Jannik has continued to expand his expertise in cloud, SaaS, and identity security, building a strong foundation in modern data protection strategies.
