A new Christmas PC meant for schoolwork quickly turned into Kevin's first major IT project. At the age of 13, an attempt to make the machine run faster accidentally wiped the entire drive. Trusting his instincts as a self-described "mini engineer," he rebuilt the system from scratch. That experience ignited a deep curiosity for technology and sparked his lifelong motto: "if you break it, fix it."

Kevin started his career at a small hometown ISP, where he learnt tech support and gained hands-on exposure to networking, PCI compliance, and datacenter management. He later brought his problem-solving skills to Higher Education, seeing it as an exciting opportunity to invest in technology and make a real difference.
 

Adopting Rubrik in 2018 and as one of the early Guardians, Kevin’s journey wasn't just about deploying a platform; it was about actively shaping it. By collaborating closely with Rubrik's core teams, Kevin provided crucial frontline feedback that influenced the development of some of the advanced capabilities today. 

Being part of the Guardians and Titans community is deeply important to Kevin because it facilitates the open exchange of knowledge. He values collective intelligence, knowing that every shared strategy and insight strengthens their common goal of protecting their organizations.
