Marcel Keil began his IT career in 2008 as a system administrator in traditional enterprise environments, later progressing to roles as a system engineer and consultant. Since 2012, he has specialised in backup and recovery, supporting customers in complex, large-scale projects. His expertise includes designing, implementing, and optimising resilient data protection strategies, troubleshooting critical recovery scenarios, and advising organisations on best practices for business continuity and data security.

Experience with Rubrik

Since 2018, Marcel Keil has worked extensively with Rubrik products, supporting the transition from traditional backup and recovery to a modern, cyber-resilient recovery approach. Over the years, he has led and contributed to Rubrik projects of all sizes, advising customers strategically and implementing the solutions end to end. Through his Black Belt engagement, he helped strengthen customer confidence in cyber resilience and best practices. A standout success was guiding a large enterprise through full Rubrik adoption, significantly improving ransomware recovery readiness and operational resilience.
