Niklas Scheid's career spans a broad range of IT disciplines, providing him with a well-rounded perspective on enterprise infrastructure. He has since focused on storage, backup, and data protection technologies, while developing advanced expertise in cloud platforms and Terraform-based automation. By combining traditional infrastructure knowledge with modern cloud practices, he enables organizations to build secure, scalable, and resilient environments that support evolving business and operational requirements.

Niklas Scheid's journey with Rubrik began during the migration of a private cloud platform to Rubrik, where he gained hands-on experience designing and implementing modern data protection solutions. Building on that foundation, he expanded his focus to cloud, identity, and SaaS data protection, with a strong emphasis on cyber resilience. He also leverages cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code practices, using tools such as Terraform to deploy and manage scalable, policy-driven environments. As a Black Belt practitioner, he supports customers in designing and optimizing Rubrik-based data protection architectures across on-premises and cloud environments.
