JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Financial Analyst will join the Finance and Strategy Team. As an individual contributor on a lean team, the analyst will be responsible for creating the structure, process, and reporting around critical metrics. They will also carry out important tasks related to both in-quarter forecasting and month-end reporting. The analyst will play a critical role in providing valuable business insights to drive decision-making. The analyst must have exceptional financial, analytical and organizational skills, and be comfortable juggling multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines.
This position will be based in Bangalore, India.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Partner with the Finance lead in owning and reporting accuracy of key subscription metrics such as ARR, NRR. Work closely with the Data and other cross-functional teams to improve the governance around ARR and NRR reporting. Collaborate with a cross-functional teams to understand end to end processes and drivers that impact ARR, NRR reporting, identify and improve upon any process gaps
- Monitor reporting abnormalities and perform necessary in-quarter and quarter-end reconciliations; Be on top of various exception reports (entitlement creation, reasons behind ARR change between different snapshots etc.) to ensure the robustness of ARR reporting
- Ensure the sanctity of various reports that help build the financial outlook. Collaborate with the US team to build in-quarter outlooks
- Work with the data team to build Tableau dashboards/reports to help automate and build a scalable reporting infrastructure
- Assist top line team on data mining for topline Budget vs Actual analysis, including revenue, COGs, booking mix by programs, booking mix by products, ASP, customer mixes etc.
- Other add hoc requests as needed
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a Finance role
- Enterprise SaaS / subscription model experience
- Superior analytical and modelling skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel
- Demonstrated ability to manipulate, analyze, and summarize large data sets
- Proficiency in building Tableau dashboards/reports
- A self-starter with exceptional attention to details, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills. Able to prioritize multiple projects
- The ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, high-growth, and global environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA and/or MBA preferred

- Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Salesforce
