Add your VMC Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) and account credentials. Rubrik will pull certifications and securely authenticate the account.

Select the proxy VM network. Rubrik will automatically deploy proxy VMs within the customer data center without any manual calculations or sizing.

Updating the network configuration will trigger a full refresh and any necessary proxy management jobs. Rubrik will deploy, update, delete, and adjust proxies as your environment scales, always optimizing for only the necessary resources.

Get enhanced visibility right from your Rubrik dashboard with a list of all proxy VMs across all vCenters. Dive under the hood with a robust monitoring dashboard displaying an overview of the deployed proxies, including IP address and VMDK’s in use.
- Rubrik CDM is deployed in a Cloud Cluster outside of your data center to provide a safer, separate storage domain without storing backup data directly in your VMC environment.
