Rubrik is seeking a motivated Sr Manager, Marketing analytics and operations to join our growing team.  This role will be responsible for data analysis and measurement of critical key performance metrics across all marketing functions including organic and paid digital as well as traditional channels while overseeing other team members.  Critical to this role is thoughtful analysis of our performance to draw insights that can be used in key decision making around our marketing planning, resourcing and delivery process.  

This role will be pivotal in providing a continuous roadmap for our marketing performance framework across marketing.  This role will be a driver in providing consolidated and prioritized data requirements for the whole marketing, ensuring that our ‘must have’ data needs are clearly articulated to our customer data organization to enable all marketing efforts.  Furthermore, this role is responsible for overseeing a team of analysts and building/scaling a center of excellence function in the region.  

Where/How you can make an impact:

  • Analyze and present insights and recommendation on marketing performance using data from Marketo, Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, paid advertising or other relevant data sources
  • Analyze and monitor key metrics and indicators for campaign spend, lead generation,, and funnel efficiency to improve the return on investment and profitability of future campaigns, supported with how best to implement these changes.
  • Proactively identify challenges to uncover insights and develop strategies that optimize our lead generation efforts (volume and conversion) 
  • Develop, communicate and execute against the performance measurement & analytical roadmap to support growth and business needs.  
  • Own delivering data and insights for QBRs, executive updates, and other ad-hoc analysis
  • Collaborate with the Data Science and IT teams to expand coverage of reliable data and automate recurrent data needs.  
  • Advocate and champion data-driven approaches in our B2B marketing efforts by leading new workstreams, presenting your work to department leaders, and meeting with key partners to push ideas and projects forward.
  • Work with cross functional teams to build and optimize attribution models as well as ways to measure marketing performance and effectiveness.
  • Act as a center of excellence function team lead, overseeing the in-region marketing members to ensure cross-functional training, resource balancing and other staffing related needs.  

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum 10 years of experience in analytics/strategy/operations roles
  • Has experience managing a team of professional and with successful history scaling  a center of excellence type of function  
  • Demonstrates knowledge of B2B SaaS Marketing metrics (demand funnel, spend, CAC, LTV, etc.) and methodologies (multi-touch attribution, A/B testing, etc).
  • Data-driven and self-motivated attitude and mindset
  • Been viewed as the go-to expert for marketing performance and optimization opportunities
  • Solves problems by searching for root causes, synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data, and clearly identifying actions to address gaps and opportunities.
  • Communicates clearly and craft messages that resonate with the audience based on their role and context
  • Knows and had used platforms with SQL endpoints (Snowflake), data visualization (Tableau), marketing automation tools (Salesforce, Marketo), Web analytics (Adobe Analytics)
  • Is data-driven and proficient with advanced analytics skills such as data mining, querying, analysis, and visualization
  • Outstanding proficiency with Excel, Macro functions 
  • API extractions and ETL Scripts
  • Emphasizes relationships with business partners to deeply understand their priorities, as well as cross-functional data partners to leverage their skillset and improve the quality of your work.
  • Is flexible and familiar with fast-paced, high-growth environments where priorities may shift with good reason.

NONDISCLOSURE AGREEMENT

In consideration of any disclosure of certain nonpublic or confidential information, you hereby enter into this Nondisclosure Agreement (the “Agreement”) and agree as follows:

  1. Confidential Information. In connection with a potential business relationship or other business purposes, Rubrik, Inc. (the “Company”) has granted you (the individual or entity named below) access, or may grant you access, to business, technical or other nonpublic information, materials and/or ideas (“Confidential Information,” which term shall include, without limitation, anything you learn or discover as a result of exposure to or analysis of any Confidential Information).
  2. Obligations. You will hold in confidence and will not possess or use (except as required to evaluate the proposed business relationship) or disclose any Confidential Information except information you can document which (i) is in the public domain through no fault of yours, (ii) was properly known to you, without restriction, prior to disclosure by Company or (iii) was properly disclosed to you by another person without restriction. You will not reverse engineer or attempt to derive the composition or underlying information, structure or ideas of any Confidential Information.  You will not export, re-export, resell, ship or divert or cause to be exported, re-exported, resold, shipped or diverted, directly or indirectly, any Confidential Information or product thereof.  You will promptly notify Company of any unauthorized release, disclosure or use of Confidential   You will strictly abide by any and all instructions and restrictions provided by Company from time to time with respect to Confidential Information or Company systems.   4. No License.  This Agreement does not grant a license to you in or to any of the Confidential Information.
  5. Feedback.  You may, at your option and in your sole discretion, provide suggestions or feedback related to the Company’s products or services.  In no event will such suggestions or feedback be considered confidential or proprietary to you.  The Company will be free to use such suggestions as it chooses, without compensation to you.
  6. Disclaimer. Confidential Information is provided to you “as is” and the Company makes no warranties with respect to the Confidential Information or any materials provided by the Company.  In no event will the Company be liable for the accuracy or completeness of the Confidential Information.  You understand that nothing herein (i) requires the disclosure of any Confidential Information of the Company or (ii) requires the Company to proceed with any transaction or relationship.  You understand that this Agreement does not obligate the Company to disclose any information or negotiate or enter into any agreement or relationship.
  7. Miscellaneous.  The terms of this Agreement will remain in effect with respect to any particular Confidential Information until you can document that such Confidential Information falls into one of the exceptions stated in Section 2 above.  You acknowledge and agree that due to the unique nature of the Confidential Information, any breach of this Agreement would cause irreparable harm to Company for which damages are not an adequate remedy, and that Company shall therefore be entitled to equitable relief in addition to all other remedies available at law.  This Agreement is personal to you, nonassignable by you, governed by the internal laws of the State of California and may be modified or waived only in writing signed by both parties.  If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, such provision will be limited or deleted to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining terms remain in full force and effect.  The prevailing party in any dispute or legal action regarding the subject matter of this Agreement shall be entitled to recover attorneys’ fees and costs.
