About the team:

The Enterprise Applications team at Rubrik enables business processes, employee experience and technologies to scale our organization to $1B+. This team is responsible for all the enterprise applications used at Rubrik and the relevant business processes (Lead to Opportunity, Quote to Cash, Hire to Retire, Customer Support, Legal, & Facilities). The IT team caters to accelerated enhancement of business value and multiple day to day business processes through our varied SaaS applications like Salesforce.com, Oracle Netsuite, Workday, Coupa, Chromeriver, Snowflake, Etrade, jitterbit, Allocadia, etc. 


About the role:

The IT Apps Administrator - Netsuite will own the Rubrik’s Netsuite systems administration and configurations from an IT perspective and ensure its security and effectiveness. As the NetSuite Admin, you'll be the wizard behind the curtain, ensuring the NetSuite ecosystem runs like a well-oiled machine. You'll be the go-to person for all things NetSuite-related, bringing order and efficiency to our digital realm.

 What you'll do:

  • Maintain and administer Rubrik's NetSuite system ensuring its security and effectiveness.
  • Ensure system integrity with proper use of sandbox environments, production data backups and testing for all system and data changes
  • Provide internal, ongoing system/technical support to NetSuite users
  • Manage the setup, configuration, and customization of NetSuite OneWorld in multi-subsidiary / multi-currency environment
  • Create and modify saved searches, reports, dashboards and KPI's, Customize roles, role assignment to users
  • Communicate effectively with business users, project consultants and NetSuite Support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and conjure up NetSuite solutions that make their jaws drop
  • Design, estimate, implement, and maintain enhancements to NetSuite for various business needs
  • Standardize the process that governs these changes and present enhancement proposals at change review sessions
  • Work closely with audit, compliance, and security teams to ensure the financial systems are in compliance with SOX regulations, ITGC, and cybersecurity best practices
  • Experience in ITSM process; Defining, recommending, and improving service management ticketing system; Participating/ facilitating weekly change control meeting for production migrations
  • Resolving product issues by opening, updating, and escalating service tickets with product vendors


Experience you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), business major or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct NetSuite Admin experience
  • Experience managing new environment creation, environment refreshes, and relationship with NetSuite/SAAS software provider
  • Experience in system log monitoring, batch job setup/ monitoring and month end support to Finance team
  • Experience in SOX 404 (b) controls implementation and systems to support a high-growth company will be a plus
  • Hands-on experience in configuring custom roles, permissions on NetSuite, and role assignments
  • Hands-on experience in configuration changes to fields, workflows, roles/permissions, forms, records, saved searches, and reports
  • In-depth knowledge of SuiteBuilder (creating custom forms, lists, records, fields and roles)
  • Good knowledge of SuiteScript/web services, CSV imports, and scheduling scripts & notifications
  • Fair understanding/ exposure to financial processes, systems and reporting including Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Revenue Recognition, and Tax etc
  • Ability to balance technical skills with business-savvy ability to transform end-user needs into technical and functional requirements
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, learn adapt new tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills, using analysis, tools, and resources to solve problems as quickly as possible
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
