We are honored to announce that Gartner has named Rubrik a “Visionary” in its 2017 Magic Quadrant for Data Center Backup and Recovery Solutions. We are entering after only three years of operations in a category that hasn’t welcomed a new vendor since 2014, an unprecedented trajectory. This is a testament to our focus on innovation and customer success.
Rubrik is disrupting a previously underserved industry composed of complex and brittle solutions. Rubrik Cloud Data Management was architected to dramatically simplify data management and enable new data services anytime, anywhere, regardless of infrastructure. With a $150 million bookings run rate after only eight quarters of selling, it is clear that the market demand is on our direction.
We believe our modern approach has changed the way enterprise customers think about backup and recovery, and the potential of application data when it can be delivered reliably anytime, anywhere. Our solution supports all major enterprise production environments – virtual, physical, or cloud. Rubrik Alta, our ninth and most significant product release, rounds out this support with Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, native Oracle, and SQL. The release also introduced Live Mount for SQL, a capability that has never been offered by any other solution. For application mobility or disaster recovery, Alta introduced CloudOn intelligent instantiation across data centers and clouds.
Every feature is designed around enterprise needs. As a customer-driven company, we are focused on enabling users to manage data across environments at scale. Entering Gartner’s 2017 Magic Quadrant is an enormous milestone.
