Senior Director of Product Marketing
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead and inspire a high-performing team of directors across Rubrik’s Enterprise, Cloud, and SaaS data protection product portfolios, shaping how we deliver value to our customers and communicate technical differentiation in the rapidly growing cyber recovery and cyber resilience market. This is a career-defining opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role in scaling our product marketing function and evolving our product launch process to meet the demands of hypergrowth and category leadership.
As a core member of the product marketing leadership team, you’ll work alongside the VP of Corporate & Product Marketing, driving strategic priorities across Rubrik’s portfolio while positioning us as the authority in data security and cyber resilience. You’ll bring a unique combination of technical expertise, market acuen, and leadership excellence to coach and empower top talent while setting a new standard for world-class product marketing.

What You’ll Do
Leadership of Product Marketing Teams
- Lead and mentor Directors of Product Marketing across Rubrik's platform of offerings, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
- Build, coach, and retain a high-caliber product marketing team, ensuring talent growth, succession planning, and professional development.
- Champion cross-functional alignment between Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to deliver cohesive go-to-market strategies that accelerate adoption and growth.
Strategic Depth & Technical Acumen
- Serve as a thought leader and internal subject matter expert, translating deep technical knowledge of the cyber recovery and cyber resilience markets into compelling positioning and messaging.
- Maintain a sharp understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to guide the team in crafting high-impact strategies across different audience segments.
- Ensure that Rubrik captures and communicates its differentiated value proposition in a way that resonates with technical buyers, C-level executives, and internal stakeholders alike.
Product Launch Process Leadership
- Own and evolve Rubrik’s product launch process, driving alignment, accountability, and flawless execution to accelerate time-to-market and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Establish and refine best practices to improve efficiencies while enabling the effective tracking of product launch success metrics.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that launch initiatives align with broader business priorities and deliver measurable impact.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution
- Conceptualize and oversee go-to-market plans to guide successful launches and ongoing campaigns that position Rubrik's solutions as market leaders.
- Collaborate with demand generation, field marketing, and sales enablement teams to build programmatic campaigns that drive pipeline growth and conversion.
- Partner with sales leadership to deeply understand customer challenges, enabling the creation of collateral, sales tools, and playbooks that empower go-to-market success.
What You’ll Bring
Leadership Excellence
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire high-performing individuals and teams; develops leadership talent and fosters career growth.
- Experience managing globally distributed product marketing teams while navigating the dynamics of a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Deep Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems, data protection, cloud platforms, SaaS, and/or cybersecurity markets.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions for customers, partners, and internal teams.
Strategic & Tactical Skills
- 12+ years of product marketing experience, with a proven track record of driving go-to-market success and launching innovative enterprise solutions at scale.
- Expert in planning and executing highly effective product launches, with a deep understanding of marketing funnels, buyer journeys, and pipeline metrics.
- Strong analytical mindset and proven ability to leverage data to measure outcomes, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.
Collaboration & Communication
- Exceptional ability to partner and influence cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of quickly earning trust and credibility with technical and executive audiences alike.
