Staff Product Manager, SaaS Data Protection - Salesforce

We are seeking an experienced Staff Product Manager with a track record of driving new product capabilities from initial concept to successful delivery and market leadership. As part of the SaaS Data Protection team, you will specifically lead the strategy and execution of data protection for our Salesforce solution. We’re looking for a talented product leader who can rapidly scale this product line, which is a critical component of our SaaS portfolio.
We are looking for candidates who have experience building data applications in the Salesforce ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with customers, sales, and engineering teams to deliver an industry-leading data protection solution. As advocates for both our customers and our business, you will balance diverse perspectives and lead cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for data backup and recovery for Salesforce
- Collaborate with engineering, support, design, and marketing teams to plan, build, and launch high-quality product experiences
- Navigate the competitive Salesforce protection market to define clear differentiation vs. the competition
- Write PRDs, manage project execution, and define product roll-out strategies
- Own and help create enablement material for sales and sales engineering teams
- Collaborate with and manage relationships with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Sales Engineering, Engineering, Design, Salesforce Admin, Monetization, PMM/TMM) to deliver the product
- Become the product expert and represent the team in any customer facing engagement
- Act as the voice of the customer, using your customer insights, learnings, and prior Salesforce knowledge to guide product strategy and execution, and to educate and build internal customer empathy
- Define, validate and integrate value added services especially in the security and AI space to differentiate Rubrik’s Salesforce offering
Experience You’ll Need:
- Deep experience building data applications on the Salesforce platform is required; specific experience developing solutions within Backup & Recovery is a plus
- 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product leadership with strong skills in planning, building, scaling, communication, and cross-functional alignment
- 10+ years of overall work experience
- Strong bias for action, moves quickly and can dive into technical details
- Ability to lead engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams with a clear/decisive direction and validated product point of view
- Respected partner to sales, engineering, design, GTM and other cross functional teams
- Track record of being able to build and scale v1 products into multi-million dollar businesses
- Must bring a positive attitude and lead the team effectively through challenges
