Cal Al-Dhubaib is a globally recognized data scientist, entrepreneur, and IAPP Certified AI Governance Professional. He is known for advancing the field of Trust Engineering for AI, focusing on how organizations design, deploy, and govern AI systems that are reliable in real-world operations. He leads emerging tech thought leadership at Rubrik, focusing on AI, cyber resilience, and enterprise trust as organizations adopt more autonomous systems. Prior to joining Rubrik, Cal founded and scaled Pandata, an AI design and development firm serving heavily regulated industries including healthcare, energy, and financial services. Over a decade, he grew the firm to serve clients including Cleveland Clinic, Progressive Insurance, and FirstEnergy, leading to its acquisition by Further in 2024, where he served as Head of AI and Data Science. His work spans AI strategy, implementation, and quality control, with a focus on aligning AI investments with business goals, designing human-machine interaction, and building governance and monitoring practices.
