Job Summary
About the team:
Our Revenue Accounting team is a high-impact group of analytical thinkers dedicated to maintaining the financial integrity of our rapidly growing business. We sit at the intersection of Finance and Operations, managing the complexities of the Order-to-Cash cycle. We value a "continuous improvement" mindset, where every team member is encouraged to challenge existing processes and build scalable, audit-ready workflows in a fast-paced environment.
About the role:
We are looking for an analytical, driven, process/detail-oriented, and creative Revenue Accountant to provide analytical and operational support to the revenue team. In this role, you will work on Accounts Receivable, Collections, revenue close validations, and rebate accounting, while being involved in supporting major projects that impact the entire revenue accounting process. You will be a key contributor to ensuring our financial reporting is both seamless and compliant with GAAP Accounting standards.
What you'll do:
- Participate in monthly accounting activities in NetSuite (i.e., journal entries, bad debt, AR-related account reconciliations) and close related deliverables.
- Independently maintain accurate and complete SOX control workbooks. Validate input data accuracy and completeness via system reports.
- Provide support to the financial reporting process, including the preparation of quarterly AR and Revenue Footnotes Collection forecasting
- Prepare deal/contract summaries for significant transactions per ASC 606
- Support and participate in revenue accounting as well as order-to-cash cycle-related projects.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-launch validations to ensure seamless system implementation of new products and services.
- Demonstrate a proactive drive to learn revenue accounting workstreams and support the team with ad-hoc projects.
- Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to streamline the Order-to-Cash cycle and resolve complex billing bottlenecks.
Experience you’ll need:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Salesforce, and Advanced Excel (complex formulas, data validation, and large data set handling).
- Excellent written and verbal English skills with a knack for collaborating across departments.
- A resilient self-starter, detail-oriented and a team player who thrives in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
