Google Veteran Vinod Marur Joins Rubrik as Senior Vice President of Engineering

PALO ALTO, Calif., May 15, 2019 – Rubrik, the Cloud Data Management Company, today announced the appointment of Vinod Marur as Senior Vice President of Engineering. Reporting directly to Rubrik Co-founder and CEO Bipul Sinha, Marur will lead and scale the company’s engineering team as Rubrik enters its next phase of growth.

Marur joins the company from Google, where he spent nearly 15 years in leadership roles across some of the company’s most critical business units, including Search, Ads, and Payments. Most recently, he created and led the Actions on Google platform, used by third parties to develop for Google Assistant and other Google products.
