They champion Rubrik on Rubrik and are the first customers of the Engineering teams at Rubrik.

Rubrik Corp IT is constructed of 100% SaaS and 0% on-premises. The IT team caters to accelerated enhancement of business value and multiple day-to-day business processes through our varied SaaS applications like Salesforce.com, Oracle Netsuite, Workday, Snowflake, Etrade, jitterbit, Allocadia, etc. This team also delivers high-paced business outcomes with 100% system uptime backed by agile, nimble, simple, but cohesive Cloud architectures.

About the role:

This Staff IT Product Manager role will serve as a vital bridge, connecting Rubrik's business strategy with the technical execution of the systems and processes essential for driving the company's Sales and Marketing success.

As a Staff IT Product Manager, you will serve as the strategic architect of our Sales technology ecosystem and the primary guardian of SOX compliance for revenue-impacting systems. While your direct ownership centers on Sales and Finance integrations, you will maintain horizontal oversight across the Marketing and Web tech stacks to ensure a seamless, end-to-end lead-to-cash lifecycle.

You are a "force multiplier" who connects the dots between Sales, Renewals, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Product Org. You are expected to navigate complex technical trade-offs and influence long-term roadmaps through architectural intuition rather than task-level management.

What you'll do:

Sales Systems Ownership: Serve as the primary IT Product Manager for Sales systems, including Salesforce CRM, opportunity management, forecasting, and territory management.  Collaborate with the Sales and Renewals business Ops for functional solutions in these domains, and own the roadmap, requirements, and delivery for Sales platform initiatives.

SOX Compliance & IT Controls: Own SOX-related IT deliverables across the GTM systems portfolio, including documentation of IT general controls, support for internal and external audits, and ensuring system changes adhere to change management and access control policies. Act as the primary IT liaison for SOX audit activities.

Marketing & Web Marketing Oversight: Maintain familiarity with the Marketing and Web Marketing technology stack to provide informed oversight, escalation support, and roadmap alignment in partnership with the Marketing Sr. Product Manager. Ensure Marketing systems integrations with Sales and Finance platforms are well-governed and scalable.

Stakeholder Management and Influence: Align product roadmap and priorities with diverse stakeholders across Sales Operations, Finance, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Engineering, and Executive Leadership. Secure buy-in, manage competing priorities, and translate complex system dependencies into clear proposals and decisions.

Business Process Optimization: Identify and drive improvements across end-to-end GTM processes, including quote generation, order booking, and sales forecasting, with an eye toward reducing manual effort and improving data accuracy.

Product Delivery: Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery and requirements gathering (PRDs/User Stories) through UAT and global rollout, ensuring high-quality delivery across Sales and compliance-related initiatives.

Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data to identify trends in sales performance and system health. Proactively surface insights and recommend technical improvements that support business growth and operational efficiency.

Technical Advocacy: Collaborate with Engineering and Enterprise Architects to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and well-integrated across the broader Sales and Marketing stack. Champion sound architectural decisions that reduce technical debt and support long-term growth.

Change Management: Lead change management for major system initiatives, ensuring high adoption through clear communication, intuitive UX design, and robust enablement strategies.

Experience you'll need:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in an IT Product Manager or Business Systems Analyst role, with demonstrated expertise across Sales, Revenue Operations, or Finance systems. Broad familiarity with Marketing technology is a plus.

SOX & Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of SOX IT general controls, change management requirements, and audit processes as they apply to enterprise business systems.

Architectural Depth: Experience designing scalable architectures within Salesforce (including CPQ) and across multi-system GTM environments that minimize technical debt and support complex business models.

Domain Knowledge: Proven experience managing integration touchpoints across CRM and ERP platforms. Good understanding of the Sales and Renewals business operational process. General familiarity with Marketing Automation and Web Marketing tools is valued but not required at a deep level.

Data Proficiency: Ability to write SOQL/SQL queries to extract and analyze data; experience with Data Loader and ETL tools for migration and reporting projects.

Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, including root-cause analysis, audit readiness, and data-driven decision-making across complex system environments.

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, Finance, Sales leadership, and executive stakeholders.

Certifications: Salesforce certifications (e.g., CPQ Specialist, Administrator) are highly preferred. SOX or audit-related certifications are a plus.

AI: Familiarity with AI-assisted development and productivity tools (e.g., Claude Code, CoWork) to accelerate delivery cycles and optimize system performance.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
