About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished and highly driven Senior Technical Program Manager to lead strategic Sales & Marketing programs in Rubrik IT. You will own planning and delivery of high-impact cross-functional programs that span Go-To-Market, Marketing automation, Web marketing, Sales Compensation, and Partner enablement. You will provide visible leadership, accountability, and governance across initiatives, from intake and prioritization through execution, go-live, and post-implementation optimization.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record delivering complex technology programs, a deep understanding of Sales & Marketing processes, and exceptional collaboration skills to partner effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Program Strategy & Governance

    • Define, champion, and execute the Sales & Marketing IT initiatives, aligned to company-wide business objectives, GTM strategy, and annual planning priorities.
    • Lead one or more concurrent, complex programs involving one or more of these domains - CRM, CPQ, Marketing Automation, Web Marketing, Sales Performance Management, and Sales Commissions.
    • Champion responsible use of LLMs (e.g., Claude) in Sales & Marketing workflows, setting guardrails for security, compliance, and data privacy in collaboration with InfoSec and Legal.
    • Partner with IT and business teams to translate business goals (Pipeline growth, Conversion, retention, Marketing efficiency, Partner performance) into clear program charters, success metrics, and implementation plans.
    • Establish program governance (cadence, forums, decision-making, risk and issue management) for Sales & Marketing IT initiatives.
    • Implement and continuously improve a unified Program Management framework and tooling (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) for Sales & Marketing IT.
    • Leverage AI into the overall SDLC in alignment with Rubrik’s Native AI expectations.
  • Program Delivery & Execution

    • Create and own the program plan including cross-functional key deliverables. Negotiate and get cross functional alignment. Partner with Business and IT teams to align and commit on the program Scope, Schedule and Resources.
    • Own the full lifecycle: demand intake, scoping, solution approach, detailed planning, execution, testing / UAT, deployment, stabilization, and post-go-live optimization.
    • Build and manage integrated plans that cover business milestones, technical delivery, dependencies, data and reporting, and change management.
    • Track scope, timeline, budget, and quality, proactively identify risks and interdependencies and drive mitigations and trade-off decisions with stakeholders.
  • Sales & Marketing Domain Leadership

    • Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, Product Operations, Channel/Partner teams, and Commissions to prioritize and deliver programs across:
      • CRM (i.e. CPQ Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing integrations)
      • Marketing automation and web marketing (i.e. Marketo, Adobe Experience Manager, campaign and lead lifecycle)
      • Sales performance management and commissions (i.e. Xactly Incent)
      • Partner portals and enablement tools
    • Ensure solutions are designed with scalability, data quality, compliance, and user experience in mind.
  • Stakeholders, Vendors & Continuous Improvement

    • Act as the central point of contact across business stakeholders and IT delivery teams.
    • Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders, product managers, architects, developers, QA, data engineers, and admins for each program.
    • Communicate program status, risks, decisions, and outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
    • Drive structured stakeholder engagement, including steering committees, executive readouts, business reviews, and change-management updates.
    • Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Legal to manage vendor relationships, SaaS licensing, and contracts across Sales & Marketing tools.
    • Track budgets and spend across programs, provide regular financial updates, including forecasts, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
    • Ensure vendors and system integrators deliver to contracted scope, quality, and timelines.
    • Champion best practices in program management, GTM process design, and application lifecycle management for Sales & Marketing IT.
    • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce manual work, improve data quality, and enhance user experience.
    • Mentor project managers, business analysts, and scrum masters, foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Experience You’ll Need:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in IT program / project management, technology consulting, or enterprise applications, with at least 8 years leading Sales & Marketing or GTM-focused programs.
  • Understanding of Sales & Marketing processes across lead lifecycle, opportunity management, forecasting, campaign management, sales performance management, commissions, and partner programs.
  • Hands-on experience delivering complex programs on CRM and marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud, Marketo, Adobe Experience Manager, or equivalent).
  • Hands-on proficiency with generative AI platforms (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) to automate project documentation, accelerate decision-making, and streamline cross-functional workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage LLMs and prompt engineering to synthesize complex program data, conduct rapid risk analysis, and produce executive-level reporting.
  • Track record of integrating frontier AI tools into daily program management practices to enhance operational velocity, optimize stakeholder communication, and drive efficient problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, global teams and manage stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior business leaders.
  • Proven track record establishing program governance, managing budgets, and driving projects to successful completion in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency with Agile and hybrid delivery models, and with project / program management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define business cases, quantify ROI, and make data-driven decisions.

Nice To Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
  • Experience in high-growth technology companies working closely with global Sales, Marketing, and GTM Operations teams.
  • Formal program / project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or equivalent).
