Job Summary

Senior Manager, HR Process Excellence

About the Role

Our People Experience & Operations (PXO) team is building the Invisible Engine—a global, tech-forward, scalable HR operations function designed to deliver a frictionless employee experience. As our HR Business Partners (HRBPs) focus deeper on strategic business alignment, PXO provides the core infrastructure, standardized workflows, and modern technology that keep our global team moving fast.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, People Process Excellence to serve as the global architect for our People Operations operating model. In this high-impact role, you will own the end-to-end process infrastructure across the employee lifecycle—starting with our core HRBP/PXO service model for Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Separations, and expanding across Talent Operations, HR Services, Compliance, Mobility, and Contingent Workforce.

You will lead the transition toward a modernized, AI-ready HR service delivery model. By designing clean, scalable, and well-governed workflows, you will ensure our HR technology and AI capabilities have a structured foundation to assist safely while keeping leaders accountable for great people decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Process Architecture

  • Design and own global process frameworks for Employee Relations, Performance Management, Separations, and support case routing between HRBPs, PXO, and self-service portals.
  • Translate complex operational workflows into clean, practical playbooks, decision trees, and documentation standards utilized by HRBPs, managers, and employees globally.
  • Build and maintain a global process inventory mapped across the employee lifecycle, ensuring clear end-to-end ownership and standardization across regions.

Continuous Improvement

  • Standardize workflows across PXO sub-functions (Talent Ops, HR Services, Data & Compliance, Mobility, Contingent Workforce) in close partnership with functional operations leaders.
  • Establish and lead a global Process Champions Network to unify regional knowledge repositories into a single, authoritative global source of truth.
  • Lead a deletion-first policy cleanup: audit, consolidate, and streamline outdated policies and guidance to reduce complexity and decision fatigue for leaders.

3. Change Governance

  • Facilitate a monthly Change Forum for People Operations to sequence upcoming policy/process updates, manage risk, and align stakeholders prior to rollouts.
  • Partner with Program Leads and COEs to ensure operating model decisions are smoothly integrated into global system rollouts and business communications.

4. AI-Ready Knowledge Management

  • Define authoritative content and structure standards for HR Knowledge Management systems (ServiceNow/Jira/Confluence/Workday) to support future AI agent-assisted workflows.
  • Partner with Legal, HR Technology, and AI teams in the implementation of AI capabilities (summarization, retrieval, automated routing, drafting) while preserving human judgment for critical outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: 8–10+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, HR Service Delivery, or HR Transformation, ideally within a high-growth global technology environment.
  • Process Excellence: Proven track record of architecting, simplifying, and scaling global HR processes (specifically Employee Relations, Performance, Separations, or HR Service Delivery).
  • HR Tech & Knowledge Stack: Hands-on experience as a user with enterprise HR ecosystems (e.g., Workday, Jira Service Management, Confluence, or dedicated HR Case Management platforms).
  • Change Leadership: Strong workflow mapping, root-cause analysis, and change management skills with a demonstrated ability to influence senior HR and business stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Forward-Thinking Mindset: Familiarity with modern knowledge management practices and an understanding of how automated tools and AI rely on structured process foundations.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical or legal HR requirements into clear, actionable guidance.
