Rubrik Joins the Nutanix Elevate Technology Alliance Partner Program
PALO ALTO, Calif., March 29, 2016 – Rubrik, developer of the world’s first Converged Backup Solution, announced today that it has joined the Nutanix Elevate Technology Alliance Partner Program. Rubrik converges complex infrastructure, provides consistent performance and simplifies management of backup and recovery.
Nutanix makes infrastructure invisible, elevating IT to focus on the applications and services that power their business. The Nutanix enterprise cloud platform leverages web-scale engineering and consumer-grade design to natively converge compute, virtualization and storage into a resilient, software-defined solution with rich machine intelligence. The result is predictable performance, cloud-like infrastructure consumption, robust security, and seamless application mobility for a broad range of enterprise applications.
Rubrik’s r300 Series converged backup appliance and Converged Data Management software is validated as Nutanix Ready for backup and disaster recovery. Joint customers such as Langs Building Supplies and Protected Trust are already using Rubrik to protect their Nutanix environments. These customers have experienced the following key benefits:
- Immediate ROI from infrastructure reduction;
- Easy and rapid deployment;
- Simple and unlimited scalability.
“Nutanix and Rubrik are complementary technologies,” says Matthew Day, IT Manager at Langs Building Supplies. “Both are rock solid scale-out platforms that allow IT to drive business outcomes. Together, they destroy the complexity barrier, allowing us to focus on what we really care about – our customers.”
Rubrik intends to continue working with Nutanix to develop Rubrik data protection for the Nutanix Acropolis hypervisor. Nutanix Acropolis streamlines datacenter design by eliminating the hypervisor as a separately purchased and individually managed silo in the overall infrastructure stack, bringing operational and management simplicity and improved economics.
“We are pleased to have completed our Nutanix Ready validation as the first stage of our collaboration with Nutanix,” said Bipul Sinha, CEO of Rubrik. “Our joint customers can confidently deploy our joint solution to solve the problems of cost, complexity and scalability in primary and backup environments.”
“We are excited to see the Nutanix Elevate Program continue to grow with the addition of new partners like Rubrik,” said Venugopal Pai, Vice President, Strategic Alliances and Business Development, Nutanix. “We are dedicated to building a robust technology ecosystem, working together with valued partners such as Rubrik, in order to deliver open, innovative, and transformative next-generation IT solutions that can fully leverage Nutanix invisible infrastructure.”
