About the team:

The Enterprise Applications team at Rubrik enables business processes, employee experience and technologies to scale our organization to $1B+. This team is responsible for all the enterprise applications used at Rubrik and the relevant business processes (Lead to Opportunity, Quote to Cash, Hire to Retire, Customer Support, Legal, & Facilities). The IT team caters to accelerated enhancement of business value and multiple day to day business processes through our varied SaaS applications like Salesforce.com, Oracle Netsuite, Workday, Coupa, Chromeriver, Snowflake, Etrade, Jitterbit, etc. 

About the role:

Rubrik is seeking a Workday System Analyst with strong Workday Functional experience on HCM & payroll and is willing to work the night shift (7pm - 3 am). For highly qualified candidates we will be open to the late evening shift (5 pm - 1 am).  You will partner with business stakeholders to analyze current state needs and challenges, identify improvement and automation opportunities, develop a backlog of user requirements, propose business and system architectures, initiate proof of concept effort for specific capabilities and enable the solution. 

The ideal candidate is able to drive multiple initiatives within the HCM track of various sizes and complexities from initiation to completion. This candidate will provide accountability and authority over projects as well as be able to define and execute against a project plan. The candidate will look for ways to ensure various systems within the HCM are functioning as expected. The candidate seeks to understand cross functional dependencies and drives collaboration to resolve them.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of hands-on Workday functional experience
  • Experience with Workday configuration in the following functional areas: Core HCM, Compensation (Core and Advanced), Benefits and Security. Time Off, Leave, Payroll, or Third Party Payroll would be a bonus.
  • Strong Workday reporting experience is desired. 
  • Experience designing and building end-to-end processes in Workday. Examples include facilitating open enrollment, leading a performance management cycle, compensation planning cycle, job architecture, security architecture, and BP reengineering, as well as working with various stakeholders.
  • Provide Workday production support, including, but not limited to, researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws. Recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet business objectives.
  • Audit, monitor and maintain data integrity. Identify, research and implement process improvements. Develops reports related to ongoing and ad hoc requests for workforce data.
  • Identify root causes and provide leadership updates and recommendations that will decrease the frequency and severity of system issues reported by end users. In addition, keeps up-to-date on system patches and new features and functionality.
  • Good project management, analytical skills, communication and organizational skills.
  • Expertise and knowledge of HR business processes and systems to support system design, configuration and implementation.
  • Manage maintenance and accuracy of employee data for analysis, regulatory compliance, reporting and distribution.
  • Experience with other Recruiting and learning platforms is an added plus

  • Expertise in agile software development methodologies and their adoption within teams
  • Self-starter who quickly learns new business processes, new systems, and tools.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to present complex technical and function information in a clear and concise manner.

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as go-to person for all Workday configurations. Combining expert-level proficiency in the systems and solutions with the understanding the functional HR processes
  • Partner with the business and IT team to define technology roadmap, develop business cases for technology projects and tools, identify ROI, create project plan, dependency and risk & tradeoffs.
  • Create Project plan and manage project deliverables, task, milestones, risk, issue and communicate project status to deliver high quality project within budget & timeline
  • Work with stakeholders to identify, analyze, design, test and implement new solutions or improvements to existing solutions
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders to turn broad requirements into recommended solutions and deliverables
  • Facilitates change management and system adoption. Help create or review communication and training materials in support of system changes
  • Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and provide key support in Systems Integration and User Testing 
  • Manage twice a year workday release for new functionality and to optimize existing processes
  • Provide systems maintenance and technical support for other HR systems, Talent and Learning Management System (LMS), etc.
  • Support compliance or audit requests as required and perform any control self-assessments to ensure controls are regularly tested and in place.
  • Work effectively across the People team as well cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of key priorities

NONDISCLOSURE AGREEMENT

In consideration of any disclosure of certain nonpublic or confidential information, you hereby enter into this Nondisclosure Agreement (the “Agreement”) and agree as follows:

  1. Confidential Information. In connection with a potential business relationship or other business purposes, Rubrik, Inc. (the “Company”) has granted you (the individual or entity named below) access, or may grant you access, to business, technical or other nonpublic information, materials and/or ideas (“Confidential Information,” which term shall include, without limitation, anything you learn or discover as a result of exposure to or analysis of any Confidential Information).
  2. Obligations. You will hold in confidence and will not possess or use (except as required to evaluate the proposed business relationship) or disclose any Confidential Information except information you can document which (i) is in the public domain through no fault of yours, (ii) was properly known to you, without restriction, prior to disclosure by Company or (iii) was properly disclosed to you by another person without restriction. You will not reverse engineer or attempt to derive the composition or underlying information, structure or ideas of any Confidential Information.  You will not export, re-export, resell, ship or divert or cause to be exported, re-exported, resold, shipped or diverted, directly or indirectly, any Confidential Information or product thereof.  You will promptly notify Company of any unauthorized release, disclosure or use of Confidential   You will strictly abide by any and all instructions and restrictions provided by Company from time to time with respect to Confidential Information or Company systems.   5. Feedback.  You may, at your option and in your sole discretion, provide suggestions or feedback related to the Company’s products or services.  In no event will such suggestions or feedback be considered confidential or proprietary to you.  The Company will be free to use such suggestions as it chooses, without compensation to you.
  6. Disclaimer. Confidential Information is provided to you “as is” and the Company makes no warranties with respect to the Confidential Information or any materials provided by the Company.  In no event will the Company be liable for the accuracy or completeness of the Confidential Information.  You understand that nothing herein (i) requires the disclosure of any Confidential Information of the Company or (ii) requires the Company to proceed with any transaction or relationship.  You understand that this Agreement does not obligate the Company to disclose any information or negotiate or enter into any agreement or relationship.
  7. Miscellaneous.  The terms of this Agreement will remain in effect with respect to any particular Confidential Information until you can document that such Confidential Information falls into one of the exceptions stated in Section 2 above.  You acknowledge and agree that due to the unique nature of the Confidential Information, any breach of this Agreement would cause irreparable harm to Company for which damages are not an adequate remedy, and that Company shall therefore be entitled to equitable relief in addition to all other remedies available at law.  This Agreement is personal to you, nonassignable by you, governed by the internal laws of the State of California and may be modified or waived only in writing signed by both parties.  If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, such provision will be limited or deleted to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining terms remain in full force and effect.  The prevailing party in any dispute or legal action regarding the subject matter of this Agreement shall be entitled to recover attorneys’ fees and costs.
